SRK—now the marketing muse!

Malad-resident Koral Dasgupta decodes consumer behaviour through the prism of actor Shah rukh Khan's super-stardom A classroom full of MBA aspirants and a young teacher who is striving hard to hold their attention. And in comes Shahrukh Khan, flying to the rescue! No, this is not a cheesy scene that was chopped off from Ra.One but a real-life scenario (well, figuratively!) that prompted the birth of Power of a Common Man by Koral Dasgupta. This is a flashback to a day about two years ago when Dasgupta was trying to engage her MBA students in a conversation about the success of brands such as Nestlé and Nirma, but instead she let the discussion take a cinematic turn. The next few hours were spent on decoding why the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Don was remade with Sharukh Khan in it and the reasons behind casting Arjun Rampal as the modern-day Pran rather than the more obvious choices—Anupam Kher or Paresh Rawal. Shah Rukh Khan says no to negative role in Race 3?

Despite getting rave reviews for his performance as a villain in 'Baazigar' and 'Darr', superstar Shah Rukh Khan is not in a mood to play a baddie again. Reports suggest that the actor was approached by Abbas Mustan to star in a negative role in their next action thriller 'Race 3'. However, the actor refused to be a part of the movie. A DNA report says the director duo met King Khan and shared the script of their film with him. They compared SRK's role with Aamir Khan's in Dhoom 3. Though SRK found the role interesting, he was not convinced by it. He politely refused the directors and said that the audience would not accept him as a villain. SRK will go on Hajj only when he can get daughter Suhana to accompany him

In December 2012, Aamir Khan accompanied his mother Zeenat Hussain on Hajj. In the course of a conversation with Shah Rukh Khan — who is very knowledgeable and passionate about Islam, in fact, when he speaks on the subject you can hang on to his every word — one casually asked him why he hadn't gone on the pilgrimage so far. The Bollywood superstar explained that Hajj is definitely on his agenda, but he could not specify when he would travel to Mecca. "I would like to go there with my son Aryan and daughter Suhana," he said. One knows that girls cannot go on Hajj unless they are accompanied by their father, brother, son or husband. In Suhana's case, SRK has decided to wait till his daughter is ready to accompany him. source : http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/entertainment/hindi/bollywood/news-interviews/SRK-will-go-on-Hajj-only-when-he-can-get-daughter-Suhana-to-accompany-him/articleshow/34833591.cms?
